About Me

I’m called Mom, Nonna, BisNonna but my husband, Charlie, calls me Anita. I’m a fiercely proud first generation American and equally proud of my Italian heritage.

I treasure the recipes and traditions passed down to me through many generations and for that reason I felt it necessary to save those stories and recipes to pass on to our children and our children’s children.  Thus, my two books, Basta Pasta and Basta Pasta Ancora were born. I married the boy I met in the 6th grade and together we have created a life filled with adventure.  We have 4 children, 9 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

As you follow along with me, I’ll have many recipes and more stories to share.

Fino alla prossima volta!
-Anita
